Julie Chen Moonves is the host of the Big Brother's 22nd season, premiering on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator, and was one of the original hosts of The Talk. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS NewsThe Morning Show on a weekday The Early Show in 2002 in 2010 and then became host of the talk show. She anchors The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour newscast at the beginning of the morning. Chen Moonves also covered the war in Iraq and other significant stories, on The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks the news anchor was sent to Cairo and found the hijacker's lead father to give him an eye-opening exclusive interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News broadcast. He profiled celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Before joining The Early Show he was an CBS own station journalist at New York City, WCBS. She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the network's affiliate news service in the late 1990s, as well as an office assistant for ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991), while finishing her senior year at the University of Southern California. This was her first time working in broadcasting, as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline With Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker on Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that looked at what happened during the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
